well, back to this after a month of nuthin, but then again have not had anything really to write down about, life is ok, my work is fucking with my hours and extreme lack of them, being poor sucks baws, only had a few outlets in which to relax which has been going out with mates and dj'ing.

this week tho i went to the cinema to see hot fuzz again, the film is genius (try and spot peter jackson' cameo in it).

then last night was in glasgow with Chris, Colin, Peaches, Geraldine to see NIN at the carling academy, the show was great. The Support act was Ladytron who did well apart from having some problems with equipment during the start which lead to the sound techs on stage when they were playing trying to fix the problem. Then after a half hour or setting up for NIN and filling the venue with smoke they came on. The show was not as long as the 2 hours last time, only an hour and a half. started off with Mr Self Destruct and just hammered thru tracks for the first hour then slowed it down over the last half hour, Trent then saying thanks to the crowd after his night in manchester, his words "fuck that city", they ended up playing a fair few tracks off of the Broken Ep, probably the shock was not playing Terrible lie or Starfuckers but playing Were in this together and Eraser instead. but all in all great show just not as good as before since the shorter time. then had to run off to catch the last train home

well concidering that i really haven't had the time to do a proper update on this thing in a good long time, i just would start off saying that hopefully everyone had a good Holiday season where ever they were in the world, altho i wish i was spending my xmas and new year in canada but that fell thru which pissed me off since no snowboarding and having fun (well at least for xmas since i had a good new year which i will describe).

my life has bee working behind the bar and going out so there is not really much of a change there, i still go to opium and genetic, and i still dj for neon, there are sometimes i think change would be a nice thing and that trying to set up my own dj'ing night instead of neon would be good also, but i can't really change much cause i have alot of mates that go to these places and pretty much without them it would all be dull and boring (kinda like edinburgh in genral).

the only really points of fun that i was xmas eve getting drunk in opium on the members £1 a drink night (i had tooooooo many shooters, about 14 or 15), and then i just slept thru xmas day to the disgust of my family but i told them to fuck off and that after last year where i was mad to feel like shit at the table infront of the whole family, and having to say i was sorry for giving my brother-in-law a matching black eye on his wedding day after he pissed me off all day and said some really fucked up shit. so after that i went straight back to sleep and ended up drunk on boxing day with some friends in opium.

Then everything got dull again and nuthin happened until new year apart from the usual going to the same place and working.

new year came and i was really drunk, started off at a mates flat but there wasn't that many people there so we just got everyone together and went to another flat an took our alcohol with us which was a good idea since it turned out to be a good night (except this drunken english guy saying that his cousin had been locked up for kiddy fiddling?? i know WTF?) well that turned out to be a way to spend 11 hours at new year having fun with friends and the random people you get over here at this time of year...........

ok, xmas was a pile of shit for me, and i could have just done with the whole holiday, i went out on xmas eve, got drunk, slept till 6pm on the day, and they told my parents not to start on me cause i was in a pissed off mood, then boxing day was more drinking at opium, just the normal weekend, you would never have guessed that thier was a holiday for me

the support bands were.....meh.

Reuben who are normally good were just pish that night, the sound was the all over the place and i think the singer must have been pissed cause it was his birthday and he was having trouble singing.

Twofold looked like a fucking joke with the 4 of them dressed up in the same gay pink t-shirts (lostprophets did this for a laugh and they also got mocked for it but hopefully both these bands will just fade away).

And the first of the support act was a guy called dave house that looked like he wants to be the new david gray, the set was just him on stage with a electric-acoustic guitar and trying to play while keeping in time with his backing track.

after all this i went upto opium for my weekly entry of the pool comp and like most weeks, i won the whole thing, since it was doubles, i partnerd with smithy and i think that was wise cause the boy has stopped drink which means all the beers were given to me *Jas*

and another thing that came up on tuesday is that colicub thought that the bass player from hundred reason scarely looks like myself just with the hair and facial hair not so long, if you can find a pic of him, decide for yourself.
